This rural and fragile land is known for the quality of life found there, for its heritage and breathtaking landscapes. Born in 1977 from a local willingness of leading a project of harmonious development of the territory, the Luberon Regional Nature Park protects and provides for the natural, cultural, and human heritage of its land. The Park regroups 77 communes, covering a 75 km long and 43 km large territory, designated biosphere reserve and global geopark by the UNESCO.
